Still not in school(all my classes were full), still no job (obvious reasons), still nothing done with my life. I have had a gastric bypass though. I am on the way to becoming NOT FAT. Spending all day playing TF2 and L4D2. Getting out more. Is good.
oh hello.
I finally got a proper camera for Christmas! A Nikon D40, yaaay. I've been at the beach some this month and that's sparked my interest in photography again, so I'm happy for now. I'm still isolated as fuck and playing video games all day, and badly in need of a job, but things are looking up, I guess. I've been keeping an eye out for some portrait studio jobs, but the only ones I've seen are at the chain places in Wal-Mart and apparently they're horrible to their employees. Boo hiss. I guess I'll dump my latest pictures here and go away for a few more months, lololol.

I've abandoned dA for a while and I'm probably going to be abandoning it for a while again. I gave up on the photography course and have decided to do radiography instead. I'm doing pretty crap right now productiveness-wise, I don't seem to be capable of doing anything except playing Team Fortress 2 all day and all night. I can't even find my camera. This doesn't mean I'm giving up photography, I'm just not in the mood right now. :(

I'm amazed at how popular my stupid little Furfag scrap is. It's the first search result for "furfag," and I'm quite proud of that. Though I'm kind of sad that my photos can't get attention like that. Poo.
I just found out the Our State photo results won't come until August, so damnit. I'll have to wait.
I'm having a pretty hard time, and my photography is suffering. I'm in intensive outpatient therapy for my depression, which means I have to spend all morning every weekday in group therapy. I did get out some this weekend and drive around a bit, nothing interesting though. Except for a couple of horses. One tried to eat my shirt :(

So. One of my favorite magazines, Our State: Down Home in North Carolina is holding their 2008 reader photo contest. I actually get to enter this time because I'm 18, hooray!
I'm hoping to enter at least three categories, and these are the two photos I'm entering already:
